Scientist Award' from Japan in 1996 in the field of Endoscopic Surgery
for Endometriosis, a rare achievement.

After MD from Calicut Medical College in 1987, started
the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in K.J. Hospital.
Undergone Basic Laparo hysteroscopy and Microsurgery training
from Grant Medical College Bombay in 1990, and started the
Dept. of Infertility, doing Laparo hysteroscopy and I.U.I.-
the first Centre in Kerala.
Had Fellowship training in Infertility from National University
Hospital Singapore in 1992. In 1994, worked in Keil University,
Germany for Diploma in Pelviscopic surgery. In 1996, had advanced
Endoscopic surgery training from C.I.C.E, Clermant Farrand
France.
In 1998, had training in Assisted Reproduction and inaugurated
Craft in 1999, a centre specialising in Assisted Reproductive
Techniques and Foetal Therapy. In 2002, CRAFT came out with
the latest technology in the world for prenatal scan, the
4D Ultrasound Scanner.
Participated and Presented scientific
papers in several International and National Conferences throughout
the country and abroad. Received Young International Scientist
Award from Japan in 1996 for the work on Endoscopic Surgery
for Pelvic Endometriosis. |
